Truman Women's Golf Team Opens 1999 Fall Campaign with First-Place At Mt. Mercy

The 1999 Truman women's golf team opened the 1999 campaign with a first-place showing at the Mt. Mercy Fall Invitational on Friday. The Bulldogs finished ahead of 12 other teams in the meet as it had two women finish in the top 10. Freshman Jill Schulte led Truman with a low score of 77 for a third-place finish in her first collegiate outing. Junior Betsy Driskell (Liberty, Mo.) placed sixth, carding 80.
