The Bulldogs continued their win streak against 19th-ranked Missouri Southern. Jarrett Anderson began the scoring with a 1-yard touchdown run, which was followed by a 37-yard field goal by Kyle Fischer. Anderson added another 3-yard touchdown run with 6:55 left in the second. Missouri Southern finally scratched out a score, but not before a 20-yard touchdown reception by Bret Yoder from Nate Minnis.

Anderson finished where he left off in the first half, scoring on a 14-yard run. The Lions retaliated on a 65-yard bomb, but were answered by a 12-yard scamper by Minnis to leave the game 38-14 with 4:50 left in the third quarter.

Missouri Southern made a stab late in the game with two touchdown runs, but it fell short and the Bulldogs walked away with a, 38-28, victory.
